XP sux when it comes to runin games on a Limited account. Im sure that a few of you have a limited user account in XP. And if u have one, then u also know that, with Vietcong 1.3, u need an Administrator to run it, or else it crashes when u start it. Well i found out a way to get by that. If u go into the registry editor and find the pterodon folder, u can right-click on it and select permissions, then u can change your permissions so that u have full acces to Pterodon and its files, but u need an admin to do this for u...

I think that you can right click the program also when admin and set properties. Depends on what XP you use.

Easy way: take 1 file from a xp that has a admin pass you know ... example your home ( dont remember its name ) move it to a disk... On the "blocked" one move the file into harddrive in safemode and you can log in with your username(s) that you have home...basic little trick ...or you can just run gpedit.msc and fix some things there to get vietcong open ;D of course if you have rights to use it, some have, some dont OR run compmgmt.msc and just add a new account to the administrators section with your own password Be sure about that noone gets pissed off from this cous they can sue you for doing this

you can also try to burn the installed game-folder and the reg key on a disk/dvd (if you are allowed to create a new reg key) but some games dont need a reg-key like worms.... (not that im playing worms at work or so )
